Weld Food Bank Summer Feeding

The Weld Food Bank Summer Feeding program is targeted to children in areas that are at risk for hunger over the summer months. The meals are prepared at the Weld Food Bank in their commercial kitchen and then safely transported to the feeding sites. All Summer Feeding sites are FREE to children under 18 years old. Street Sweeping Rescheduled, Again

Street Sweeping for June 17, 2020 through June 19, 2020 has been postponed and rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. The Town of Gilcrest will begin street sweeping Wednesday, June 24, 2020 through Friday, June 26, 2020 from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. All vehicles, trailers and miscellaneous must be removed from the streets until the work is complete. If you have any questions, please contact Town Hall.

Parks Open with Restrictions

The Gilcrest Municipal Park and Liberty Park are now open to the public but limited to a group of not more than 10 people, require the use of face masks and social distancing.  The playground equipment and bathrooms will remain closed.

2020 Watering Restrictions

Effective May 1, 2020 through October 15, 2020 The following restrictions shall apply to all potable water taken from the Town water system: a.  Tap holders with even numbered street address may water only on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. b.  Tap holders with odd numbered street address may water only on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. c.  No Watering on Friday and no watering on any day between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. d.  Businesses and organizations who demonstrate a particular need may request an amendment to the above schedule, by permit only, to accommodate regularly scheduled activities. Upcoming Events: On Wed, June 3, Nantes Library hopes to reopen its doors to the public. Our new rules follow state and local guidelines 5 patrons in Nantes at one time. Face coverings are required. The monthly tornado siren testing is to ensure the sirens work properly during severe weather events. The Town of Gilcrest is now accepting credit cards for all payments for utility or court payments. Residents are now able to pay their utility bills online using Xpress Bill Pay. The Town is excited to offer this service and believes in providing excellent customer service. The Town will still allow residents who prefer mail or payment drop off services.
