The Town of Gilcrest is accepting applications for a full-time Town Treasurer/Clerk. This is an exempt Department Head position. Hours of operation are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday Through Friday with some evening meetings. Responsibilities include Municipal Clerk, Utility Billing, Court Clerk, Municipal Treasurer, Cash receipting & Account Receivables/Payables, Budget, Payroll, Banking and Deposits.
An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred and /or four (4) years of increasingly responsible related municipal accounting experience. Caselle software experience preferred. Certified Municipal Clerk desired or willing acquire. Salary offered is $48,000 to $55,000 DOQ, plus full benefit package.
