Board of Trustees

About

The Town of Gilcrest Board of Trustees consists of seven elected members, a Mayor and six Trustees.  One of the Trustees is selected by the Board to be Mayor Pro-Tem.   At each regular municipal election, a Mayor and three Trustees are elected to serve four year terms with the remaining three serving two year terms. The Board is responsible for conducting the Town’s business, adopting an annual budget, passing ordinances and resolutions, and acting in the best interests of the town and its residents.

Meetings

The Board of Trustees regular meetings are scheduled for the first and third Monday of each month at Town Hall, 304 8th Street.  The meetings start at 7:00 PM.  Agendas for the Meetings are posted on this website, Town Hall and the Gilcrest Post Office.   Occasionally work sessions will also be held.  All meetings are open the public in compliance with Colorado Open Meetings law.

All residents are invited to attend.  There is time early in the meeting that anyone can address the Board on any matter of concern.
