TOWN OF GILCREST, COLORADO

NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Municipal Election due to vacancy will be held at the Gilcrest Town Hall, 19750 County Road 31, Gilcrest, Colorado on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for the election of the following offices:

Three (3) Trustees will be elected to fill vacancies through the November 2026 election. The three candidates receiving the highest number of votes will serve until that election.

QUALIFICATION OF ELIGIBLE VOTERS

All persons who are citizens of the United States, at least eighteen (18) years of age on or before Election Day, residents of the Town of Gilcrest for at least twenty-two (22) days prior to the election; and duly registered to vote in the State of Colorado shall be eligible to vote in this election.

Nomination and acceptance forms are available at the Town Hall and Municipal Court Building beginning April 21, 2026, and must be filed no later than May 11, 2026.

The Special Municipal Election shall be conducted as a polling place election.
