Brand Standards
An Introduction
These guidelines describe the visual and verbal elements that represent the Town of Gilcrest corporate identity. This includes our name, logo and other elements such as colors, and type.
Sending a consistent and controlled message of who we are is essential to presenting a strong, unified image of our company.
These guidelines reflect the Town of Gilcrest brand, including the logo, name, colors and identifying elements, which are valuable company assets.
Each of us is responsible for protecting the company’s interests by preventing unauthorized or incorrect use of the the Town of Gilcrest name and marks.
Logo Usage
Our logo is the key building block of our identity, the primary visual element that identifies us. They have a fixed relationship that should never be changed in any way.
Please use reverse logos for darker backgrounds and give plenty of space around the logo.
Please don't alter the logo in any way.
Colors
The Town of Gilcrest brand utilizes the following colors. Use them as the dominant color palette for all internal and external visual presentations of the company.

Corporate Typography
Quicksand
Quicksand is a display sans serif with rounded terminals. The project was initiated by Andrew Paglinawan in 2008 using geometric shapes as a core foundation. It is designed for display purposes but kept legible enough to use in small sizes as well. In 2016, in collaboration with Andrew, it was thoroughly revised by Thomas Jockin to improve the quality. In 2019, Mirko Velimirovic converted the family into a variable font.
